Hanging out at the Fasig-Tipton November sale

Grade 2 stakes winner Nefertini raises her head to watch a horserace on the TV.
Here are pictures of a few of the fillies and mares in the Fasig-Tipton November sale, which will be held on November 4th in Lexington, Kentucky. All but Palace Rumor, Rhumb Line, Maid of Heaven, and Inglorious are in the Four Star Sales consignment. Some of the heavy hitters, including dual Breeders Cup winner Mizdirection (a Four Star-grad, like Maid of Heaven before her), are scheduled to arrive from California tomorrow.

Palace Rumor is in line for a major catalogue update if her Classic-winning son Palace Malice wins the Breeders’ Cup Classic tonight.

Palace Rumor (hip 119), a daughter of Royal Anthem (grandson of my favorite sire Nureyev), is the dam of 2013 Belmont Stakes winner Palace Malice.

Palace Rumor.

Palace Rumor is clearly thinking, "You have candy in that hand, right?"

Brushed By a Star (hip 11), a Grade 2 winner who sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. Her sire Eddington is the sire of 2013 Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Secret Circle.

Grade 2 winner Disposablepleasure (hip 30), a broodmare prospect.

Disposablepleasure got her name from a Vesper Lynd quote in Casino Royale.

Another Bond-themed horse is stakes-placed More Than Ready filly Skyfall (hip 150).

Two-year-old Bond girl Domino Derval (hip 32), who won a maiden special weight at Belmont since the catalogue.

Maid of Heaven (hip 93), a stakes winner carrying one of the first foals by Belmont Stakes winner Union Rags.

Grade 2 mare Nefertini (hip 111), in foal to Tapit.

Nefertini.

Rhumb Line (hip 134), in foal to Tapit and thus carrying a full sibling to Zazu-G1 and Flashback-G2.

Kathmanblu (hip 84), a Grade 2 winner, in foal to Smart Strike for her first foal.

Canadian champion Inglorious (72), selling as a broodmare prospect.
